Consultant – Real World Evidence (RWE) Research

The RWE Research Consultant role combines a responsibility for identifying RWE needs and designing RWE projects, account management of a number of pH clients and generating new business opportunities in a fast paced consulting environment. 

Key activities include;

  • Taking clear and accurate client briefs and developing proposals that meet client objectives, timelines and budgets
  • Developing a robust study protocol and gaining client approval
  • Maintaining a client facing role throughout the delivery of a project
  • Engaging with NHS healthcare professionals and academic experts
  • Increasing the profile of pH Associates, expanding client contacts and identifying future project opportunities.

This is a client focused, full time, permanent role based at our modern office just outside Marlow (Buckinghamshire) town centre Marlow, Buckinghamshire with some requirement to travel. It is therefore essential that you are a car owner with a full driving licence.

About Us

pH Associates is a growing dynamic consultancy based in Marlow, working on projects that are of mutual benefit to our Life Science industry clients and our NHS partners.  We specialise in strategy development and problem solving through intelligent Real World Evidence (RWE) generation and application with the aim of driving uptake of innovation to optimise patient care. 

We have an enviable blue chip client base including 12 of the top 15 Pharmaceutical companies. We also support several academic and professional bodies on non-commercial projects.  In the past 3 years we have worked with more than half of all NHS Trusts (acute and primary care) on our RWE projects.  We offer a high quality service to our partners which is evidenced by more than 90% of our business being repeat. 

About You

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following;

  • Experience of healthcare research and study design
  • An understanding of observational research and the different methodologies that may be applied
  • Good basic clinical knowledge and experience across a range of specialities
  • An understanding of the NHS and UK Health environment
  • Experience of working in healthcare consultancy or a commercial environment 
  • Proven track record of project and client account management 
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry

In addition, you will;

  • Be an eager self-starter comfortable with working in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) and enjoy a client facing role
  • Be a creative individual who is able to get to the bottom of an issue and develop a robust solution
  • Be a strong team player who is also able to work indpendently
  • Demonstrate good IT skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and excellent written English
